It has only been since November and Tempest Steakhouse is already winning rave reviews. Great ambience, high quality house made food and the best part, totally affordable.
The front door is an object d'art, handmade mosaic tile and steel, it used to hang in the Vancouver International Airport in 1968. Simple, yet stylish netting lines the walls, the wrought iron chandeliers have muted Ostrich egg covers creating a textured comfortable setting.
The music is an eclectic mix of house, down tempo beats and chilled out grooves to dine and unwind. Occasionally on Thursday evenings, Tempest Steakhouse & Lounge presents live music to compliment the Martini Lounge cocktail features.
Following the lines of a classic steakhouse the offerings are generous and rich in flavour. Tempest Steakhouse and Lounge uses only Certified Angus Beef, which is the top 4% of all beef used in Canada.
Try a 32 ounce Porterhouse steak (custom cut for Tempest) grilled to perfection, served to you on a sizzling platter and carved table side, perfect for two to enjoy. Dig into the 14 ounce Rib Eye; 12 ounce New York cut Strip Loin or 8.5 ounce Tenderloin Filet. The handmade Goat cheese Gratin potatoes are rich and creamy with hints of Thyme and Parsnips.
